The group invites applications for one or two postdoctoral positions within the Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics postdoctoral research program.

Research areas

Combustion, ammonia and hydrogen energy, laser diagnostics, and optoelectronic information.

Qualifications

  1. A solid theoretical foundation in engineering thermophysics or optoelectronics, and good English skills.
  2. Integrity, diligence, responsibility, creativity, teamwork, intellectual curiosity and strong research skills.
  3. Strong communication, presentation and experimental skills; the ability to conduct research independently; and a record of high-quality publications.
  4. A PhD, or an expected PhD, in power engineering and engineering thermophysics, mechanical engineering, optics or a related field.
  5. A strong sense of responsibility and a collaborative approach.

Salary and support

  1. An annual salary of RMB 300,000, in accordance with university regulations. Other benefits, including postdoctoral accommodation and school admission for children, follow Wuhan University of Technology and national regulations.
  2. Research funding and support for applications to postdoctoral funds, the NSFC and other research programs.
  3. Research facilities and graduate-student teams organized to support the research tasks, along with support for international academic exchange.
  4. Postdoctoral researchers with outstanding research achievements and an excellent completion assessment are encouraged to apply for university positions and receive preference under otherwise equal conditions.
