Recently, the international energy journal Energy & Fuels announced the winners of the 2025 Energy & Fuels Rising Star Award, with Professor Yu Wang from the Laboratory being selected. Established in 2021 by the American Chemical Society (ACS) journal Energy & Fuels, the Energy & Fuels Rising Star Award is an international academic honor. It recognizes early-career researchers within 12 years of earning their doctoral degrees who hold independent research positions and have made significant academic contributions in the global energy field. Recipients are selected by an award committee composed of renowned scholars in the international energy community, including the journal's editor-in-chief and editorial board members.
