On August 27, 2025, the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) issued the "Notice on the Review Results of Concentrated Application Projects for the 2025 National Natural Science Foundation of China". The project titled "Coupling Mechanisms of Heat Transfer-Storage-Release-Conversion and Synergistic Performance Regulation in Vehicle-Mounted Thermal Energy Storage-Based Thermoelectric Generation Systems" (Approval No.: 52505276), proposed by Dr. Zuguo Shen from the Laboratory, has been approved for funding under the NSFC Young Scientists Fund Program.
Dr. Zuguo Shen has long been engaged in research on thermoelectric power generation, phase change thermal energy storage, ammonia-hydrogen energy utilization, and related fields. The implementation of this funded project will facilitate the Laboratory's in-depth investigation into automotive waste heat recovery technologies. The research findings are expected to provide theoretical support for the development of next-generation long-duration, high-performance vehicle-mounted thermoelectric generation systems.
