On August 23, 2024, the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) announced the results of its 2024 centralized application review. Associate Professor Liuhao Ma’s project, “Combustion diagnostics using heterodyne phase-sensitive wavelength-modulation dispersion spectroscopy” (Grant No. 52476168), was awarded funding under the NSFC General Program.
Dr. Ma develops new laser spectroscopy methods and sensor designs for diagnostics of high-temperature combustion flows and power-system emissions. This project will support further investigation of laser spectroscopy and expand its applications in combustion diagnostics and gas sensing.
