In December 2022, the ABBS- International Conference on Biological hydrogen production and Biological processes, jointly sponsored by the key Laboratory of low-grade Energy Utilization Technology and Systems of the Ministry of Education, the School of Energy and Power Engineering and the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics of Chongqing University, the Asian Union for Biological hydrogen production and the International hydrogen Association, was held online. The purpose of the meeting is to provide participants with an interdisciplinary platform to showcase and discuss the most cutting-edge innovation directions and development trends in the fields of biological hydrogen production, bioenergy and biological processes, and to pay attention to and explore key issues such as practical challenges and solutions in these areas.
Associate researcher Liuhao Ma in the laboratory attended the meeting and gave a report entitled 'Development of a trace ammonia sensor with large dynamic range using laser absorption spectroscopy'' to share with the participants the research progress of ammonia trace optical detection technology and its practical application in industry, and won the conference 'Best Paper Award'.
