From May 21 to May 23,2021, the 6th National Youth Combustion Academic Conference was held in Hangzhou Zhijiang Hotel. The conference was co-sponsored by Division I of Engineering Science, Department of Engineering and Materials, National Natural Science Foundation of China and Combustion Branch of Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics, and co-organized by State Key Laboratory of Clean Energy Utilization of Zhejiang University, School of Energy Engineering of Zhejiang University, School of Aeronautics and Astronautics of Zhejiang University, Engineering Thermophysics Society of Zhejiang Province and Youth Working Committee of Combustion Branch of Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics. More than 600 young teachers and researchers from 124 universities and scientific research units across the country attended the conference.
Professor Yu Wang of the laboratory was invited to give a lecture entitled "Experimental measurement and numerical simulation of laminar soot flames". Dr. Liuhao Ma gave a special report entitled "Study on high temperature diagnosis method based on cross-band absorption spectroscopy". Through sharing and exchange at the meeting, the external cooperation and interaction of the laboratory were strengthened, and new ideas were provided for the innovative development and later research trends of the laboratory in multiple branches of combustion discipline.
