At the invitation of Professor Yu Wang, Professor Cai Liming of Automotive School of Tongji University visited the advanced combustion laboratory and gave an academic report entitled "Research on Intelligent Design and automatic Modeling of carbon Neutral fuels". All teachers and students in the laboratory listened to the report on the spot.
Professor Cai showed the participants a series of carbon neutral fuel selection and design work for advanced combustion models. it also focuses on the prediction effect of using artificial intelligence method to realize macroscopic parameters such as octane number and flame propagation velocity, as well as the highly automatic combustion reaction kinetic modeling method newly developed by the research group. In addition, Professor Cai also shared with you an example of the application of this research in industry. Teachers and students responded enthusiastically and actively communicated with Professor Cai.
After the meeting, Professor Cai Liming visited the advanced combustion laboratory. Professor Yu Wang gave a detailed introduction to Professor Cai on the existing equipment, research trends and future development direction of the advanced combustion laboratory. Professor Cai's visit and exchange provided a new idea for the laboratory to study the combustion mechanism of different fuels, strengthened the external communication of the laboratory, and laid the foundation for the cooperation of scientific research projects in the later stage.
