At the invitation of the Key Laboratory of Renewable Energy of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Youth Innovation Promotion Association of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professor Yu Wang visited Guangzhou Institute of Energy, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and conducted academic exchanges on laminar flame measurement and soot generation mechanism with Professor Wang Xiaohan, director of the Combustion and Heat Flow Research Institute, and Associate Professor Li Xing, and gave an academic report entitled "Soot Formation in Laminar Counter-flow Diffusion Flames: Non-monotonic Behaviors".
