The DeCarbon International Conference was held in Chongqing from July 14 to 16,2023. The conference was hosted by Chongqing University and co-sponsored by National University of Singapore (Chongqing) Research Institute and Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications. The conference focused on hot issues in the research fields of zero carbon emissions, efficient energy storage and conversion, energy collection and utilization, clean environment and long-term sustainability, with 500 participants.
Professor Yu Wang, Associate Researcher Liuhao Ma and Dr. Zuguo Shen attended the meeting. Professor Yu Wang was invited to give a report entitled "High Temperature Industrial Hydrogen Ammonia Zero Carbon Combustion Technology and Its Industrialization", introducing the demonstration application of zero carbon ammonia combustion technology in ceramic industrial kilns to the participants, and deeply discussing the specific principles and practical effects of the three-stage NOx emission control strategy of ceramic kilns; Associate Researcher Liuhao Ma was invited to give a lecture entitled "A laser absorption sensor for fuel slip monitoring in high-humidity flue gases from ammonia combustion", sharing the online detection technology of trace ammonia escape at high temperature and high humidity and its application in complex industrial scenarios to the participants, and won the "DeCarbon Young Scholar Award".
